What this notice covers
This notice explains how Techinquest handles information collected through this website, tech-inquest.com. It does not cover our software. When a health system uses Rebate Recovery, Implant Control or any other Techinquest product, the data in it is governed by that customer's agreement with us, not by this notice. How our two flagship products handle data is described on our security and data handling page.
Browsing the site
This is a static website. Every page is a prepared file, delivered the same way to every visitor. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
We do not use advertising trackers, and at the time of writing the site runs no analytics. We do not set cookies. The fonts and scripts the pages use are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not contact a third-party font or script service. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice to say what we use and why.
The servers that deliver these pages keep standard access logs, which typically record the IP address a request came from, the time, the page requested, the page that linked to it and the browser type. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure, not to build profiles of visitors.
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, work email, organization and role, the product or topic you are interested in, and an optional message.
The form sends your request to us directly, together with the page of the site you sent it from. If your browser does not run scripts, it opens a ready-to-send email in your own email program instead. Either way, your request reaches us by email, the same as writing to us yourself.
We use this information only to respond to your request. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone else for their marketing.
Please do not include patient information or any other protected health information. The contact form and our email are not the place for it.
We also keep a copy of each request sent through the form, on Amazon Web Services in the United States, for up to one year, so that no request is lost; it is then deleted automatically. Correspondence is kept as ordinary business email. If you ask us to delete either, we will, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@tech-inquest.com from the address you used and tell us what you would like. We will reply from the same mailbox.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as research publishers and our LinkedIn page. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this notice does not cover them.
Children
This site is written for healthcare professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this notice
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this notice and the effective date beside it.
